Ornamental Fish

Lumbini Aquaria international Pvt. Ltd is the first ever ornamental fish and aquatic plant exporter in Sri Lanka which has been trading high quality freshwater, brackish water and marine ornamental fish species, invertebrates, and aquatic plants to the international market since 1952. The presence of Lumbini in the global market for 70 years has enabled the company to acquire a plethora of experience, technical know-how, and mastery over the trade in order to deliver high grade live ornamental aquatic products to its customers all over the world. We export our live aquatic products chiefly to the USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Holland, Spain, Japan, Australia, and Middle Eastern countries.

Leisure

“City of Sun-valley” is located 190km away from Colombo in the Central province of Sri Lanka in middle of an astonishing tea estate “Sun Valley plantations” and overlooking range of mountains and valleys. The bungalow is one of the closest accommodations to Horton plains and provides fantastic excursions. The bungalow with luxurious comfort consists of well furnished five spacious rooms with three attached bathrooms fitted with modern sanitary ware. The bedrooms can accommodate up to 20 guests and spacious living area with fire place, satellite TV, room heaters and hot water are the other features of the bungalow. Some excursions: 5Km to Horton Plains, 6Km to Bambarakanda Waterfall, 5Km from Ohiya railway station,1 Km to Devil’s Staircase, Cypress mountain and may more.

Aquaculture

Deep Blue Sea Aquaculture Limited (DBS) was established with the objective of Initiating Land Based Barramundi Fish Farming through RAS (Re-circulative Aquaculture System) in Sri Lanka. With the adaptation of sustainability concept by the people and organizations across the globe, the demand for environmental friendly products and practices has risen drastically. The salient feature of this system is reconditioning and reusing of water to ensure optimum utilization of the resource. DBS produces 3 -4 metric tons of live fish in each season for export and local consumptions. Today we have successfully established 15 acres of pods for land based fish farming.
